The National Service Scheme aims at developing student’s personality through community service. Baselios Poulose Second College is very lucky to have two NSS units which itself creates a feeling of jealousy to the other colleges. It is a remarkable point that the college has succeeded in the completion of the construction of three houses and has handed over the keys to the deserved members from the society. It has conducted various activities like blood donation camp, organic farming, campus beautification etc. NSS volunteers embarked on cleaning campaign at different sites.
The unit has a ‘Green Army’ for promoting organic farming and at present vegetable plantation has done at one acre of our college campus. This was supported by Commerce Department and Computer Applications Department.
